New Delhi, 8th Feb. Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, Piyush Goyal, emphasized the pivotal role of quality in all aspects of life at the ‘Youth for Quality Bharat Festival 2024’, organized by the Quality Council of India (QCI) at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi on Wednesday.
In his address, he expressed confidence that the festival would foster a culture of quality among the youth of the nation.
Goyal underscored the importance of quality consciousness and its contribution to sustainable development, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Zero defect zero effect’. He highlighted Bharat Mandapam as a testament to India’s commitment to quality, showcasing the nation’s strength and capabilities to the world.
The festival witnessed the esteemed presence of key figures from the Government of India, including Union Minister Piyush Goyal, who graced the event as the chief guest, reaffirming the government’s dedication to empowering youth as catalysts for change and development.
Organized as part of the Quality Bharat @100 Mission, the Youth for Quality Bharat Festival brought together over 2,500 students from renowned universities to celebrate quality and inspire them to shape India’s future. The event featured motivational talks, live performances, and the launch of the Youth for Quality Bharat Mission video, highlighting the significance of quality in all spheres of life.
Renowned personalities such as motivational speaker Vijendra Chauhan, stand-up comedian Amit Tandon, Olympic boxer MC Mary Kom, and choreographer Ganesh Acharya graced the occasion, enriching the festival with their insights and performances.
The festival marked a significant milestone in the journey towards a developed India by 2047, promoting youth-led development and quality consciousness. The Quality Council of India extends gratitude to all participants and supporters, affirming its commitment to excellence and youth empowerment in India’s journey towards a Quality Bharat.
