New Delhi, 25th Feb. During Ashwamedha Yagya, which was arranged by the Gayatri Parivar, the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, spoke via video message today. In light of the impending elections, the Prime Minister began by expressing his dilemma about being linked to a “Ashwamedh Yagya” because that could be misconstrued. But he added, “My doubts vanished when I witnessed the Ashwamedha Yagya to uphold the sentiments of Acharya Shri Ram Sharma and infuse it with new meaning.”
Prime Minister Modi acknowledged that “the Ashwamedha Yagya organized by the Gayatri Parivar has become a grand social campaign,emphasizing its contribution to guiding millions of young people away from addiction and toward nation-building endeavors. Prime Minister Modi highlighted that “youth are the future of our nation,” acknowledging their crucial role in determining India’s future and advancing its development. He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Gayatri Parivar for their dedication to this admirable project. The Prime Minister praised their endeavors to motivate people by means of Acharya Shri Ram Sharma and Mata Bhagwati’s teachings, and mentioned his own association with numerous Gayatri Parivar members.
The necessity of shielding young people from the perils of addiction and offering assistance to those who are already impacted was emphasized by Prime Minister Modi. Prime Minister Modi emphasized, “Addiction wreaks havoc on individuals and societies, causing immense damage,” reiterating the government’s commitment to the national Drug-Free India initiative, which was launched three to four years ago and involved over 11 crore people. The prime minister brought attention to the wide range of outreach initiatives carried out in association with social and religious organizations, such as bike rallies, swearing-in ceremonies, and street plays. In his Mann ki Baat, the Prime Minister has also emphasized the value of taking preventative steps to avoid addiction.
“When we involve our young people in bigger national and international projects, they will avoid minor transgressions,” Prime Minister Modi remarked, highlighting the youth’s pivotal role in achieving the goals of a Viksit and Aatmnirbhar Bharat. “One Earth, One Family, One Future,’ the theme of the G-20 summit under India’s presidency, exemplifies our shared human values and aspirations,” Prime Minister Modi said, highlighting the significance of teamwork in global initiatives like “One sun, one world, one grid” and “One world, one health.” Prime Minister Modi stated, “The more we involve our youth in such national and global campaigns, the more they will stay away from the wrong path.
“The success of Chandrayaan has sparked a new interest for technology among the youth,” Prime Minister Modi said, discussing the government’s focus on science and sports. He underlined the transformative power of such initiatives in directing the youth’s energy in the right directions. Initiatives like Khelo India and the Fit India Movement, he claimed, will inspire young people, and “a motivated youth cannot turn towards substance abuse.”
With reference to the recently established “Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat)” organization, Prime Minister Modi stated that over 1.5 crore young people have already registered on the portal, encouraging the responsible use of youth power for the betterment of the country.
Prime Minister Modi emphasized the government’s commitment to ending substance abuse at all levels while acknowledging the terrible effects of addiction. PM Modi emphasized that robust family support networks are essential for effectively addressing substance abuse. Prime Minister Modi stated, “Families must therefore be strong as institutions for the purpose of building a substance-free India.”
“I said that a new journey of a thousand years is beginning for India during the Pran Pratishtha Samaroh of the Ram Mandir,” Prime Minister Modi recalled, expressing faith in the country’s course towards a glorious future. Prime Minister Modi expressed optimism about India’s path to becoming a global leader through national development through the pursuit of individual development, saying, “In this Amrit Kaal, we are witnessing the dawn of this new era.”
