Prime Minister Modi to Address Farmers’ Conference in Varanasi on June 18

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi on June 18, where he will address a farmers’ conference. This marks his first visit to Varanasi after the formation of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government for the third consecutive term at the Centre.

Dilip Patel, the BJP Kashi region president, confirmed the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit and highlighted its significance in the backdrop of the new government’s formation.

Navratan Rathi, the BJP Kashi region media in-charge, disclosed that efforts are underway to finalize a venue for the farmers’ conference, with potential locations being considered in Rohania or Sevapuri Assembly constituency. A meeting of Varanasi BJP office-bearers was convened at the party office in Gulab Bagh to strategize and plan for the Prime Minister’s visit.

Patel elaborated that following his address at the Kisan Sammelan, Prime Minister Modi will pay homage at the revered Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple and partake in the Ganga Aarti ritual at the Dashashwamedh Ghat. The visit holds significance not only for the agricultural community but also for the residents of Varanasi, as they eagerly anticipate the Prime Minister’s presence in their city.
