Prime Minister Modi Arrives in Doha, Qatar

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched down in Doha today, marking the commencement of his official visit to Qatar. This visit holds significant diplomatic importance as it underscores the growing ties between the two nations. It marks the Prime Minister’s second visit to Qatar, following his initial trip in June 2016.

Upon arrival, Prime Minister Modi was warmly welcomed by Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, exemplifying the cordial relations between India and Qatar.

Over the course of his two-day stay, Prime Minister Modi is set to engage in a series of high-level meetings aimed at enhancing cooperation between India and Qatar. Tonight, he is scheduled to attend a lavish dinner hosted by Qatar’s Prime Minister, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in his honor.

On February 15, Prime Minister Modi will hold discussions with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. These talks are expected to encompass a wide array of topics, including bilateral relations, regional stability, and global issues of mutual concern.
