President Murmu’s Address Strengthens Resolve for Viksit Bharat: PM Modi

New Delhi, 5th Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that President Droupadi Murmu’s address to both Houses of Parliament would reinforce the nation’s commitment to Viksit Bharat and serve as an inspiration for the common people.

Replying to the debate on the Motion of Thanks on the President’s Address in the Lok Sabha, PM Modi highlighted her emphasis on fostering trust among citizens for the next 25 years. “We are in 2025, and a quarter of the 21st century has passed. The President’s address focused on building trust for the coming 25 years and the vision of Viksit Bharat. It strengthens our resolve, instills confidence, and inspires the people,” he said.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to respond to the Motion of Thanks for the 14th time, PM Modi acknowledged the people’s mandate and their trust in his leadership.

The Prime Minister also outlined the BJP-led government’s development initiatives, particularly those aimed at uplifting the poor.

“We have provided four crore houses to the underprivileged. Those who have experienced hardships truly understand the significance of owning a home. Additionally, over 12 crore toilets have been built to improve sanitation and dignity, especially for women,” he stated.

The debate on the Motion of Thanks, which began on Monday, saw active participation from several members of Parliament.
