President Murmu to Visit UP on June 30–July 1 for Key Events

Lucknow, 29th June: President Droupadi Murmu will embark on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh, covering Bareilly and Gorakhpur from June 30 to July 1, 2025.

According to the official schedule released by the Press Information Bureau, the President will attend multiple key events during her visit. On June 30, she will grace the 11th convocation ceremony of the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) in Bareilly, a prestigious institution in the field of veterinary science.

Later the same day, President Murmu will be in Gorakhpur to attend the inaugural convocation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), marking a significant milestone for the premier healthcare institute.

On July 1, the President is scheduled to inaugurate the newly established Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University in Gorakhpur, which aims to strengthen traditional systems of medicine. She will also visit the Mahayogi Gorakhnath University, where she will inaugurate key infrastructure including the Auditorium, Academic Block, and Panchkarma Kendra. In addition, she will lay the foundation stone for a new Girls’ Hostel on the campus.
