New Delhi, 4th March: President Droupadi Murmu extended her greetings to citizens across the country and Indians living abroad on the eve of Holi, describing the festival as a celebration of joy, harmony and unity.
In her message, the President said Holi carries a powerful message of social cohesion and strengthens bonds among people across communities.
“On the joyous occasion of Holi, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Indians living in India and abroad,” she said.
Highlighting the cultural significance of the festival, the President noted that Holi spreads love and hope in society and reflects India’s enduring tradition of unity in diversity.
She expressed hope that the vibrant colours of the festival bring happiness into everyone’s life and inspire collective efforts toward building a developed nation.
