President Murmu Extends Heartfelt Wishes on Multiple Festivals

On the occasion of Vaisakhi, Vishu, Bishub, Bahag Bihu, Poila Boishakh, Vaishakhadi, and Puthandu, celebrated on 13th and 14th April 2024, President of India, Droupadi Murmu, conveyed her heartfelt wishes to all Indians, both within the country and abroad.

In her message, President Murmu highlighted the significance of these festivals, which represent diverse cultural heritage across different regions of India.

She emphasized how these celebrations serve as vibrant expressions of unity, harmony, and brotherhood, fostering a sense of togetherness among the people.

Furthermore, the President underscored the festivals’ role in honoring the hard work of farmers, often referred to as ‘Annadata,’ and expressed gratitude for their contributions to society. She noted that these occasions inject new energy and enthusiasm into people’s lives, symbolizing social harmony and promoting a sense of positivity and optimism.
