Valsad, 13th Feb. President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday paid a visit to the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur in Valsad.
In her address to the gathering, the President praised the legacy of Shrimad Rajchandra ji, highlighting his role as a saint, poet, philosopher, and social reformer. She commended Gurudev Shri Rakesh Ji for his remarkable spiritual work, leading the mission’s activities across over 200 locations worldwide.

Emphasizing the importance of self-knowledge, the President noted the mission’s significant contribution to human welfare.
President Murmu expressed concerns over society’s pursuit of material happiness at the expense of spiritual well-being. She underscored the necessity of mental peace, equanimity, restraint, and morality alongside material success.
She advocated for a balanced approach, where spiritual growth complements modern development rather than being overshadowed by it.
She urged individuals to seek solutions to contemporary issues by reconnecting with their spiritual roots, without disregarding advancements in modern society.
