Varanasi, 18th Dec. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the attendees of the Kashi Tamil Sangamam and his speech was translated for the audience in real-time using artificial intelligence.
During the event on Sunday, the Prime Minister urged those from Tamil Nadu to use their earphones to listen to the speech, which was being translated using AI technology for the first time.
Modi expressed his hope that artificial intelligence would make it easier for him to connect with the people. He mentioned that this was his first experience and, in the future, he would use it more frequently. He also stated that he would speak in Hindi as usual, and AI would translate it into Tamil.
The Prime Minister emphasized the special bond between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, comparing it to the love and connection between Mahadev and Madurai Meenakshi.
He assured the people of Kashi’s hospitality and mentioned that they would leave with the blessings of Baba Vishwanath and the memories of Kashi.
The Kashi Tamil Sangamam, which started on December 17 and will continue until the end of the month, will witness the participation of 1,400 dignitaries from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
In addition to cultural exchange programs, there will be an exhibition showcasing the diverse art, music, handloom, handicrafts, cuisines, and other unique products from Tamil Nadu and Varanasi.
The Union Ministry of Education is the main organizer of the event, with participation from various ministries and departments of the Uttar Pradesh government.
The Kashi Tamil Sangamam will include lectures on literature, ancient texts, philosophy, spirituality, music, dance, drama, yoga, and Ayurveda. There will also be seminars on innovation, trade, knowledge exchange, edutech, and next-gen technology.
