New Delhi, 22nd July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his wishes for good health to Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, following Dhankhar’s recent resignation from the post of Vice President.
In a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Modi acknowledged Dhankhar’s extensive service to the nation. He stated, “Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji has got many opportunities to serve our country in various capacities, including as the Vice President of India. Wishing him good health.”
The Prime Minister’s message comes shortly after Dhankhar’s abrupt resignation on Monday evening, citing medical advice and the need to prioritize his health. Dhankhar had served as the 14th Vice President of India since August 2022.
