New Delhi, 16th Feb: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday welcomed global leaders, industry heads, innovators, policymakers, and researchers to the AI Impact Summit being held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The summit is themed “Sarvajana Hitaya, Sarvajana Sukhaya — Welfare for All, Happiness for All”, reflecting India’s commitment to harnessing artificial intelligence for inclusive and human-centric development.
The Prime Minister highlighted the growing role of AI across sectors such as healthcare, education, agriculture, governance, and enterprise. He expressed confidence that the summit’s deliberations would strengthen global cooperation on innovation, collaboration, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Modi underlined India’s rising leadership in the global AI transformation, driven by its population of 1.4 billion people, strong digital public infrastructure, vibrant startup ecosystem, and advanced research capabilities.
In a series of posts on social media, the Prime Minister said the summit brings together global stakeholders to shape a progressive, innovative, and opportunity-driven future through artificial intelligence. He added that India’s strides in AI reflect both ambition and responsibility, positioning the country at the forefront of technological advancement.
