Referring to the evolving global situation, the Prime Minister noted that conflicts in India’s neighbourhood have triggered concerns over fuel supply and essential commodities, given the country’s dependence on energy imports. He appealed to citizens not to fall prey to rumours and avoid politicising the crisis, stressing that national interest must remain paramount.

Highlighting India’s resilience, Modi credited strong global partnerships and domestic capabilities for helping the country navigate challenging times. He also expressed gratitude to Gulf nations for supporting over one crore Indians residing there.

Focusing on citizen participation, the Prime Minister spoke about the Gyan Bharatam Survey, an initiative to document India’s manuscript heritage. He urged people to contribute through the app by sharing information about rare manuscripts, noting that thousands of entries have already been received from across the country.

Emphasising the role of youth in nation-building, Modi highlighted the MY Bharat initiative and a nationwide “Budget Quest” that saw participation from nearly 12 lakh young citizens. He praised their ideas on governance, sustainability and development.

On sports, the Prime Minister lauded the Ranji Trophy victory of the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team, calling it a historic achievement after decades. He also highlighted achievements of emerging athletes, reflecting India’s growing sporting culture.

Addressing health and lifestyle, Modi encouraged citizens to adopt fitness practices, reduce sugar and oil consumption, and prepare for International Yoga Day, noting the growing global popularity of yoga.

The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of water conservation, citing community-led initiatives across states such as Tripura, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. He noted that millions of water harvesting structures and Amrit Sarovars have been developed under government campaigns.

Highlighting grassroots innovation, Modi shared stories of individuals and communities contributing to sectors such as fisheries, solar energy and sustainable agriculture. He pointed to the impact of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in promoting solar adoption and improving livelihoods.

He also cited a mass plantation drive in Varanasi, where over 2.5 lakh saplings were planted in an hour, reflecting the power of collective action.
