New Delhi, 11th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a telephonic conversation with President of the United States Donald Trump, with both leaders reviewing the ongoing progress in India–U.S. bilateral relations and discussing major regional and global developments.

According to an official statement, the leaders expressed satisfaction at the steady strengthening of strategic ties between the two countries. They also exchanged perspectives on international issues of mutual interest.

Both Prime Minister Modi and President Trump reaffirmed that India and the United States will continue working closely together to advance global peace, stability and prosperity.
