New Delhi, 14th Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on 15 November to mark Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, with a day-long programme centred in the Narmada district. At around 12:45 PM, the Prime Minister will perform pooja and darshan at the Devmogra Temple. Later, at 2:45 PM, he will reach Dediapada to participate in the 150th birth anniversary commemoration of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda.

During the event, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than ₹9,700 crore. These projects span infrastructure, health, education and heritage, with a major focus on tribal empowerment and improved public services in remote regions.

A key highlight of the programme will be the Grih Pravesh of one lakh houses constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) and the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JAGUA). The initiative aims to expand secure housing access across tribal communities.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate 42 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) worth about ₹1,900 crore, offering quality residential education to tribal students. Also being launched are 228 Multi-Purpose Centres designed as community hubs, a Centre of Competence at Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh, and a new Tribal Research Institute (TRI) building in Imphal, Manipur, to strengthen preservation of tribal heritage.

In a major push to rural connectivity, PM Modi will flag off 250 buses dedicated to 14 tribal districts of Gujarat. Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for 748 km of new roads across tribal areas, along with 14 Tribal Multi-Marketing Centres under the DA-JAGUA initiative.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for 50 new EMRS schools—worth over ₹2,320 crore—reinforcing the government’s long-term commitment to quality education and infrastructure development for tribal children.
