PM Modi to Showcase India’s Chip Power at Semicon 2025
2,500 delegates from 48 countries to join; Focus on fabs, AI, R&D, packaging & investment opportunities.

New Delhi, 1st Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Semicon India – 2025 on September 2 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, with a special CEOs roundtable scheduled for September 3.
The three-day global conference (Sept 2–4) aims to catalyse a robust and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem in India, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators.
Key focus areas include semiconductor fabs, advanced packaging, smart manufacturing, AI-driven innovation, R&D, and state-level policy frameworks. Sessions will also highlight India’s Design Linked Incentive (DLI) scheme, startup growth, international cooperation, and future roadmap.
The event will see participation of over 20,750 attendees, including 2,500 delegates from 48 countries, 150+ speakers (with 50 global leaders), and 350+ exhibitors. Dedicated pavilions will spotlight startups, workforce development, and country-level initiatives.
Past editions of Semicon India were hosted in Bengaluru (2022), Gandhinagar (2023) and Greater Noida (2024), underscoring India’s rising profile as a hub for semiconductor design, manufacturing, and innovation.
