New Delhi/Dhar, 16th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on September 17 to unveil a series of flagship initiatives spanning health, nutrition, tribal welfare and industry.
At a public event in Dhar, the Prime Minister will launch the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah campaigns—billed as the largest-ever health outreach for women and children in India. From September 17 to October 2, more than one lakh health camps will be organised across Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres, District Hospitals and other government facilities.
These camps will offer women-centric preventive, promotive and curative services, from screening for non-communicable diseases, anaemia, TB and sickle cell disease to specialist consultations in gynaecology, paediatrics, ENT, eye care, dermatology and mental health. Blood donation drives will register donors on the e-Raktkosh portal, while beneficiaries will be enrolled under PM-JAY, Ayushman Vaya Vandana and ABHA. Yoga sessions, Ayurveda consultations and lifestyle awareness programmes will complement the medical outreach.
PM Modi will also transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana directly to the bank accounts of nearly ten lakh women and launch the Suman Sakhi Chatbot, a digital tool to provide timely maternal and child health information to pregnant women in remote areas.
Furthering India’s fight against sickle cell anaemia, he will distribute the one-croreth Sickle Cell Screening and Counselling Card for Madhya Pradesh.
Tribal Empowerment
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the ‘Adi Seva Parv’, part of the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan, to boost health, education, skill development, livelihood, sanitation and environmental protection in tribal regions. The initiative will also roll out the Tribal Village Action Plan and Vision 2030, creating long-term development roadmaps for each tribal village.
Industrial Boost
Highlighting his 5F Vision—Farm to Fibre, Fibre to Factory, Factory to Fashion, Fashion to Foreign, PM Modi will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, a world-class textile hub spread over 2,150 acres. Equipped with a Common Effluent Treatment Plant, solar power facility and modern infrastructure, the park has attracted investment proposals worth ₹23,140 crore and is expected to generate nearly 3 lakh jobs, while boosting cotton farmers’ incomes and exports.
Women’s Green Initiative
In a symbolic gesture supporting women’s economic empowerment and environmental protection, PM Modi will present a sapling to a beneficiary of the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, under which over 10,000 women in Madhya Pradesh will develop community gardens named ‘Maa Ki Bagiya’.
