New Delhi, 30th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat on March 31 to inaugurate key projects and lay the foundation stone for development works worth over ₹20,000 crore across multiple sectors.

The visit will begin in Gandhinagar, where the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Samrat Samprati Museum at Koba Tirth on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti. The museum showcases the historical and cultural legacy of Jainism through rare artefacts, manuscripts and modern digital exhibits.

Later, in Sanand near Ahmedabad, Modi will inaugurate the Kaynes Semicon Plant, marking a major milestone in India’s semiconductor journey. The facility will begin commercial production of advanced Intelligent Power Modules and is expected to strengthen domestic chip manufacturing capabilities under the India Semiconductor Mission.

The plant will be the second semiconductor facility in India to commence production and will contribute to building indigenous semiconductor packaging capacity.

In the final leg of the visit, the Prime Minister will travel to Vav-Tharad, where he will inaugurate, dedicate and lay the foundation for multiple infrastructure projects spanning power, railways, highways, health, urban and rural development.

Key projects include the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, major railway upgrades, renewable energy transmission systems, and urban infrastructure works. Several tourism and water supply projects will also be launched to boost regional development.
