PM Modi to Inaugurate Multiple Development Projects in Rewari Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Rewari, Haryana on February 16, 2024, where he will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation, and lay the foundation stone of various development projects collectively valued at over Rs 9750 crore.

The projects span across urban transport, health, rail, and tourism sectors, aimed at bolstering infrastructure and fostering growth in the region.

One of the significant projects includes the foundation stone laying of the Gurugram Metro Rail project, with an estimated cost of about Rs 5450 crore. This project, spanning 28.5 kilometers, will enhance urban connectivity by linking the Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase-5, integrating seamlessly with the existing metro network of Rapid Metro Rail Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station.

Additionally, it will feature a spur at Dwarka Expressway, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision for eco-friendly mass rapid urban transport systems.

In line with efforts to strengthen public health infrastructure nationwide, the foundation stone for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rewari, Haryana, will be laid. With an investment of approximately Rs 1650 crore, AIIMS Rewari will occupy 203 acres of land in village Majra Mustil Bhalkhi, offering comprehensive medical facilities including a Hospital Complex with 720 beds, Medical College with 100 seats, and residential accommodations among others. This initiative under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) is poised to provide advanced tertiary care health services to the people of Haryana.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed Anubhav Kendra Jyotisar in Kurukshetra, crafted at a cost of approximately 240 crores. Spanning over 17 acres, this experiential museum will narrate the epic tale of the Mahabharata and teachings of the Gita, employing cutting-edge technology to enrich visitor experiences.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone and dedicate several railway projects, including the doubling of railway lines and the inauguration of the Rohtak-Meham-Hansi rail line, aimed at bolstering regional rail connectivity and reducing travel time.

These initiatives underscore the government’s commitment to comprehensive development and infrastructure enhancement across various sectors, fostering progress and prosperity in Haryana.
