New Delhi, 22nd Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday thanked United States President Donald Trump for his warm Diwali greetings and a personal phone call on the occasion of the festival of lights.
In a message on X, PM Modi wrote, “Thank you, President Trump, for your phone call and warm Diwali greetings. On this festival of lights, may our two great democracies continue to illuminate the world with hope and stand united against terrorism in all its forms.”
The Prime Minister also emphasised the enduring strength of the India–United States partnership and reaffirmed India’s commitment to international cooperation and counter-terrorism efforts. The exchange reflects the shared democratic ideals and close strategic ties between the two nations.
