New Delhi, 7th Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared an article by Union Minister Shri Amit Shah reflecting on India’s national song, Vande Mataram, composed by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, calling it the eternal song of India’s freedom.

Marking the 150th anniversary of the hymn, PM Modi noted that the article emphasizes how Vande Mataram, written during the dark days of colonial rule, became a “dawn-song of awakening,” blending cultural pride with civilisational nationalism.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the song continues to inspire the vision of a confident, self-reliant, and resurgent Viksit Bharat 2047, urging citizens to revisit its historical significance and enduring relevance in nation-building.
