New Delhi, 14th Nov.  Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has paid tributes to the former Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary.

Nehru, who was born in 1889, was a prominent Congress leader and freedom fighter who served as the country’s first prime minister. He died in office in 1964, making him India’s longest-serving prime minister.
