New Delhi, 16th Jan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to the revered Tamil sage-poet Thiruvalluvar on the occasion of Thiruvalluvar Day, describing him as a timeless guide whose teachings continue to inspire generations across India and beyond.
In his message, the Prime Minister highlighted that Thiruvalluvar envisioned a society rooted in harmony, compassion, and ethical conduct—values that remain deeply relevant in contemporary times. He said Thiruvalluvar embodies the finest traditions of Tamil culture and stands as a beacon of wisdom, unity, and moral clarity.
PM Modi urged citizens to engage deeply with the Tirukkural, calling it a profound work that reflects the exceptional intellect and universal humanism of the great thinker.
