New Delhi, 30th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid homage to noted freedom fighter Shyamji Krishna Varma on his death anniversary, remembering his contribution to India’s independence movement.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister described Varma as a “brave son of Mother India” who played a crucial role in awakening a new consciousness during the freedom struggle.
“He awakened a new consciousness in the freedom movement with his revolutionary ideas,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister added that Varma’s life and ideals continue to inspire generations towards service to the nation.
Shyamji Krishna Varma, a prominent nationalist and scholar, is remembered for his role in promoting revolutionary thought and supporting India’s independence movement from abroad.
