New Delhi, 19th Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday paid tributes to Rani Lakshmibai on her birth anniversary, recalling her unmatched courage and sacrifice during India’s first freedom struggle.
In his message, the Prime Minister said that the story of Rani Lakshmibai’s valour continues to inspire Indians with enthusiasm and determination. He added that the nation remains forever grateful for her sacrifices made in defence of the motherland.
Sharing his tribute on X, PM Modi wrote that the country can never forget the dedication and struggle of the iconic Jhansi queen who laid down her life protecting India’s honour.
