New Delhi, 28th June: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday paid tribute to former Prime Minister Shri PV Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary, acknowledging his instrumental role in shaping India’s economic and political transformation during a critical juncture.

PV Narasimha Rao, who served as the 9th Prime Minister of India from 1991 to 1996, is widely credited for initiating bold economic reforms that opened up the Indian economy. His tenure is marked by significant policy shifts that laid the foundation for India’s integration with the global economy.
