New Delhi, 25th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid homage to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his birth anniversary, lauding the late leader’s enduring influence on India’s ideological and developmental framework.
The Prime Minister highlighted Upadhyaya’s philosophy of Integral Humanism and his vision of Antyodaya—uplifting the most marginalized—as guiding pillars of India’s growth model. Modi said these ideals remain central to the government’s policies of inclusive development and nation-building.
In a message on X, the Prime Minister wrote in Hindi, “भारत माता के महान सपूत और एकात्म मानववाद के प्रणेता पंडित दीनदयाल उपाध्याय जी को उनकी जयंती पर कोटिश: नमन। देश को समृद्धि की राह दिखाने वाले उनके राष्ट्रवादी विचार और अंत्योदय के सिद्धांत विकसित भारत के निर्माण में बहुत काम आने वाले हैं।”
Upadhyaya, a key ideologue of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, is remembered for advocating a holistic socio-economic model that balances tradition with modernity.
