New Delhi, 11th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid heartfelt tributes to former President Pranab Mukherjee on his birth anniversary, describing him as a towering statesman, an exceptional scholar, and a leader whose contributions have deeply enriched India’s democratic fabric.
In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister wrote, “Tributes to Shri Pranab Mukherjee on his birth anniversary. A towering statesman and a scholar of exceptional depth, he served India with unwavering dedication across decades of public life. Pranab Babu’s intellect and clarity of thought enriched our democracy at every step.”
PM Modi also reflected on his personal interactions with the former President, saying it was a privilege to learn from him over the years.
Pranab Mukherjee, who served as India’s 13th President, held key portfolios throughout his political career and remains widely respected for his parliamentary experience, administrative acumen, and commitment to constitutional values.
