In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister remembered her as a charismatic leader and an outstanding administrator who carved a permanent place in the hearts and minds of countless people.
Highlighting her tenure as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, PM Modi noted that Jayalalithaa championed welfare-driven governance with a strong emphasis on women empowerment, social justice and inclusive development.
