New Delhi, 15th Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Devmogra Mata Temple on Saturday as the nation marked Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, coinciding with the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
During his visit, the Prime Minister sought the blessings of Devmogra Mata for the well-being, good health and advancement of all citizens. Describing the experience as sacred, he encouraged people across the country to visit the temple and receive the Mother’s blessings.
Sharing a message on X, PM Modi wrote, “देवमोगरा माता की जय! आज जनजातीय गौरव दिवस के दिन भगवान बिरसा मुंडा जी की 150वीं जन्म-जयंती के पवित्र अवसर पर देवमोगरा माता के मंदिर में दर्शन का सौभाग्य मिला। देवी माता से मैंने सभी देशवासियों के उत्तम स्वास्थ्य और उन्नति की कामना की। मेरा आग्रह है कि आप भी इस मंदिर में आकर माता के दर्शन करें और उनका आशीर्वाद लें।”
The day is celebrated nationwide to honour the legacy and contribution of tribal freedom fighter Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
