New Delhi, 10th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday received a telephone call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, during which the two leaders reviewed bilateral ties and exchanged views on regional developments.
According to an official statement, both leaders expressed satisfaction at the continued momentum in the India–Israel Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation for mutual benefit.
Modi and Netanyahu strongly condemned terrorism and reiterated their zero-tolerance approach towards terrorist acts in all forms and manifestations.
The two leaders also discussed the evolving situation in West Asia. Prime Minister Modi reaffirmed India’s support for efforts aimed at achieving a just and durable peace, including the early implementation of the Gaza Peace Plan.
Both leaders agreed to remain in touch as developments unfold.
