New Delhi, 7th Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives in a tragic mishap in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, and announced ex-gratia assistance from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF).
The Prime Minister sanctioned Rs 2 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for those injured.
“Saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh. My thoughts are with the affected people and their families during this difficult time. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured,” the Prime Minister’s Office quoted Modi as saying in a post on X.
