PM Modi Lauds CAPFs, State Police for Showcasing Courage at Ekta Parade
Prime Minister praises Nari Shakti’s spirited participation in martial arts and combat demonstrations on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

New Delhi, 31st Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday hailed the “grand” Ekta Parade organised to mark Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, lauding the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and State Police forces for their exceptional display of courage, discipline, and skill.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister wrote,
“The Ekta Parade was a grand occasion for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and State Police forces to showcase their skills and courage. Equally noteworthy was the vibrant participation of our Nari Shakti. Women personnel demonstrated martial arts and unarmed combat drills.”
The Ekta Parade, held annually on October 31 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, symbolizes India’s unity and strength. The 2025 observance featured dynamic performances by women personnel, reflecting the growing role of Nari Shakti in national security and policing.
The Prime Minister’s remarks come as part of a series of events nationwide honouring the Iron Man of India, whose efforts were pivotal in integrating the nation post-independence. The event underscored India’s commitment to unity, discipline, and inclusivity in its security forces.
