Aligarh, 22nd April.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) during an election rally in Aligarh, accusing them of neglecting the upliftment of Pasmanda Muslims and engaging in appeasement politics.

PM Modi asserted that whenever he raised concerns about the plight of Pasmanda Muslims, the Congress and SP showed discomfort, alleging that these parties have failed to address the political, social, and economic needs of the Muslim community.

Highlighting the BJP’s legislative efforts, PM Modi emphasized the passage of a law against triple talaq, which he claimed has safeguarded the lives of Muslim women.

He slammed the Congress and SP for their alleged inaction in protecting the rights of Muslim women affected by triple talaq.

The Prime Minister also celebrated the government’s initiatives to enhance the Haj quota and simplify visa rules for Indian Muslims, particularly lauding the decision to allow women to travel for Haj without a ‘Mehram’.

He expressed gratitude for the blessings received from Muslim women whose dream of undertaking the Haj pilgrimage has been realized.
Praising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, PM Modi highlighted the state’s progress towards becoming a significant contributor to the vision of a self-reliant India.

He commended CM Yogi’s “One District, One Product” initiative for fostering economic growth and generating respect nationwide.

With Aligarh set to vote in the upcoming phase alongside other constituencies, the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh continues to evolve amidst intense campaigning and electoral discourse.
