PM Modi Interacts with First Batch of Students from IIT Delhi- Abu Dhabi Campus

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in an interactive session with the first batch of students from the IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi Campus. This monumental initiative not only marks the beginning of a new chapter in bilateral collaboration but also fosters camaraderie among the youth of both nations.

The establishment of a campus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in the UAE was conceived by the leadership of both countries in February 2022.

This pioneering project, a collaborative effort between the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education & Knowledge (ADEK), aims to offer high-quality higher education opportunities to students globally. Furthermore, it seeks to cultivate partnerships between India and the UAE in cutting-edge technology, research, and innovation domains.

The launch of the first academic program, a Masters in Energy Transition and Sustainability, commenced this January, marking a significant milestone in the journey of this collaborative venture.

This program reflects the shared commitment of both nations towards addressing pressing global challenges, particularly in the realms of energy transition and sustainability.

Prime Minister Modi’s interaction with the students underscores the government’s unwavering support for initiatives that promote academic excellence, international collaboration, and youth empowerment.

The IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi Campus serves as a testament to the strong and enduring partnership between India and the UAE, paving the way for a brighter and more interconnected future.
