New Delhi, 19th August. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on the occasion of Janmashtami on Friday.
“May this festival of devotion and gaiety bring everyone happiness, prosperity, and good fortune,” he said.
According to the Hindu calendar, Lord Krishna was born on this day, and Janmashtami is celebrated to commemorate the occasion.
