New Delhi, 19th Sept: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a birthday call from Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Thursday, with both leaders vowing to deepen the India–Greece strategic partnership.
Mitsotakis conveyed warm wishes on Modi’s birthday and expressed support for the early conclusion of a mutually beneficial India–EU Free Trade Agreement. The two leaders welcomed progress in trade, investment, technology, shipping, defence, and people-to-people exchanges, and discussed regional and global issues of shared concern.
They also looked ahead to the 2026 AI Impact Summit to be hosted by India, pledging continued cooperation for regional peace and prosperity.
