New Delhi, 9th Nov: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday extended his greetings to the people of Uttarakhand on the 25th anniversary of the state’s formation, commending its steady progress in various sectors, including tourism and infrastructure.
Sharing his sentiments, the Prime Minister added that “Nestled in the lap of nature, this divine land is gaining new momentum in every field along with tourism.”
Formed on November 9, 2000, after being carved out of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand has evolved into a hub of pilgrimage, eco-tourism, and mountain development. The state, often referred to as Devbhoomi (Land of the Gods), continues to play a vital role in India’s cultural and environmental landscape.
