New Delhi, 28th Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended warm greetings to the people of India on the occasion of Nuakhai, a harvest festival widely celebrated in Odisha and neighbouring states.
Highlighting the spirit of gratitude, the Prime Minister acknowledged the tireless efforts of farmers who form the backbone of the nation’s sustenance and progress.
In posts on X, he wrote, “Wishing everyone a joyous Nuakhai. This cherished festival is a reminder of our deep gratitude to the farmers whose hard work sustains us all. May there be good health, prosperity and happiness in every home. Nuakhai Juhar!”
He also extended wishes in Odia, underscoring the festival’s cultural roots, praying for happiness, prosperity, and well-being in every household.
