PM Modi Encourages Record Voter Turnout as Lok Sabha Elections Commence

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday made a fervent appeal to voters to participate in large numbers and make their voices heard in Lok Sabha polls. With polling underway in 102 constituencies across 21 states and union territories, PM Modi emphasized the significance of each citizen’s vote in shaping the nation’s future.

In a social media post on X, PM Modi urged voters to exercise their franchise in record numbers, underscoring the pivotal role of democracy in the electoral process.

He specifically called upon the youth and first-time voters to seize the opportunity to contribute to the democratic exercise, highlighting the importance of their participation in shaping the country’s destiny.

“Today marks the commencement of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections! With polling underway in 102 seats across 21 States and UTs, I urge all eligible voters to cast their votes in unprecedented numbers,” stated PM Modi in his post.
