PM Modi Distributes Over 1 Lakh Appointment Letters, Lays Foundation Stone for Karmayogi Bhavan

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday distributed more than 1 lakh appointment letters to newly recruited individuals via video conferencing, marking a significant stride in the government’s efforts to provide job opportunities to the youth of India.

Additionally, he inaugurated Phase I of the Integrated Complex “Karmayogi Bhavan” in New Delhi, aimed at fostering collaboration and synergy among various segments of Mission Karmayogi.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Modi congratulated the newly appointed recruits and their families, emphasizing the government’s commitment to transparent and timely recruitment processes. He highlighted the importance of reducing the time between job notification and the issuance of appointment letters, citing its role in curbing corruption and ensuring equal opportunities for all youth.

The Prime Minister underscored the government’s unwavering focus on youth empowerment and national development, emphasizing the role of skill-building and hard work in securing employment. He noted that the government has provided 1.5 times more jobs to the youth in the past decade compared to previous administrations, reflecting its dedication to fostering economic growth and inclusivity.

Prime Minister Modi also discussed initiatives announced in the recent budget, such as the promotion of rooftop solar plants and continued support for startups, aimed at creating new avenues for employment and self-employment. He highlighted the significance of infrastructure investment in driving development and job creation, with substantial allocations earmarked in the budget for rail, road, airport, and waterway projects.

Drawing attention to reforms in the selection process for paramilitary forces, the Prime Minister emphasized equal opportunities for candidates across diverse linguistic backgrounds. He encouraged the newly appointed individuals to contribute wholeheartedly to the nation-building journey, emphasizing the role of government personnel in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

Background: The Rozgar Mela, held at 47 locations nationwide, facilitated recruitment across various Central Government Departments and State Governments/UTs. The newly appointed individuals will serve in ministries/departments such as the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Railways, among others.

The Rozgar Mela reflects the government’s commitment to prioritizing employment generation and empowering the youth. Additionally, recruits will have the opportunity to enhance their skills through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module offering over 880 e-learning courses on the iGOT Karmayogi portal.
