New Delhi, 6th Aug: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday dedicated Kartavya Bhawan to the nation, hailing it as a symbol of unwavering commitment to public service and a new landmark for India’s development journey.
In a series of posts on X, the Prime Minister stated that the new building, an example of “state-of-the-art infrastructure,” will not only accelerate the delivery of government policies and schemes but will also give fresh momentum to the nation’s progress. “Kartavya Bhawan reflects our commitment to build a developed and self-reliant India,” he said.

The Prime Minister also expressed his pride in the workers, or “Shramyogis,” who built the building, acknowledging their “tireless hard work and determination.” He added that he was very happy to have the opportunity to interact with them.
During the event, the Prime Minister also highlighted the building’s environmentally conscious design. He noted that full attention was given to environmental protection during its construction, in line with the country’s commitment to sustainability. As a symbolic gesture, he planted a sapling in the premises of Kartavya Bhawan.
The new building is seen as a modern addition to the nation’s capital, reinforcing the government’s focus on efficient governance and sustainable development.
