New Delhi, 20th March: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his congratulations to Anutin Charnvirakul on his election as the Prime Minister of the Thailand.

In a message shared on X, Modi conveyed his best wishes and expressed his eagerness to work closely with the new leadership to further strengthen the India-Thailand Strategic Partnership.

“Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul on his election as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. I look forward to working closely with him,” the Prime Minister said.

Highlighting the strong foundation of bilateral ties, Modi noted that relations between India and Thailand are rooted in shared civilisational heritage, cultural connections and vibrant people-to-people exchanges.

He emphasised that both countries are aligned in their aspirations for peace, progress and prosperity, and reaffirmed India’s commitment to deepening cooperation across multiple sectors.
