Manika Batra of India made history by becoming the first Indian female paddler to win a bronze medal in the Asia Cup.
Manika Batra, India’s number one table tennis player, made history by becoming the first Indian female paddler to win a bronze medal at the 33rd edition of the ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup table tennis tournament, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand.
She defeated World number six and three-time Asian champion Hina Hayata 4-2 in the bronze medal match.
