PM Modi Congratulates Rohan Bopanna for Winning Australian Open

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated tennis player Rohan Bopanna for winning the Australian Open on Saturday.

Bopanna and his partner Matthew Ebden from Australia defeated the Italian duo Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori with a score of 7-6 (0), 7-5 to secure the victory in the men’s doubles final.

At the age of 43, Bopanna made history by becoming the oldest man to win a Grand Slam doubles title.

Prime Minister Modi praised Bopanna, who is currently ranked as the number one men’s doubles player, for his dedication and determination. Modi emphasized that Bopanna has consistently demonstrated that age is not a hindrance to success.
