New Delhi, 23rd Oct: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today, extending warm congratulations on Malaysia assuming the ASEAN Chairmanship.
PM Modi conveyed his best wishes for the successful conduct of upcoming ASEAN-related summits under Malaysia’s leadership.
The Prime Minister also expressed his intention to join the ASEAN-India Summit virtually and reaffirmed India’s commitment to strengthening the ASEAN-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Had a warm conversation with my dear friend, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim of Malaysia. Congratulated him on Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship and conveyed best wishes for the success of upcoming Summits.
