PM Modi Condoles the Demise of Former Assembly Speaker of Uttarakhand Harbans Kapoor

Dehradun, 13^th Dec. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the passing away of former Assembly Speaker of Uttarakhand Shri Harbans Kapoor Ji.

PM Modi tweeted, “Saddened by the passing away of our senior Party colleague from Uttarakhand Shri Harbans Kapoor Ji. A veteran legislator and administrator, he will be remembered for his contributions to public service and social welfare. Condolences to his family and supporters. Om Shanti.”

BJP MLA Harbans Kapoor passed away at his residence here on Monday. He was 75 years old.

An eight-time MLA, Harbans Kapoor was one of the senior most members of the Uttarakhand Assembly.

Kapoor, who was a former Speaker, represented the Cantt assembly seat of Dehradun district in the House.
