PM Modi Condoles Loss of Lives in Factory Mishap in Himachal Pradesh, Announces Aid

New Delhi, 22^nd Feb. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in the tragic factory mishap in Himachal Pradesh.

The Prime Minister also announced an ex-gratia from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the victims.

The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted, “Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives in the tragic factory mishap in Himachal Pradesh. Rs. 50,000 would be given to the injured: PM”

At least seven people were killed and 12 injured in the explosion in the factory in Una district where firecrackers were being made, a senior district official said.
