New Delhi, 26th Dec: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday condoled the passing of Shri Biswa Bandhu Sen Ji, Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, remembering him as a leader devoted to the state’s progress and social causes.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said that Sen would be remembered for his efforts to boost Tripura’s development and his commitment to numerous social initiatives.
“Pained by the passing of Shri Biswa Bandhu Sen Ji, Speaker of the Tripura Assembly. He will be remembered for his efforts to boost Tripura’s progress and commitment to numerous social causes. My thoughts are with his family and admirers in this sad hour. Om Shanti,” Modi wrote.
Leaders across party lines have also expressed condolences on Sen’s demise, acknowledging his long public service and contribution to Tripura’s political and social life.
