GG News Bureau

New Delhi, 7th July. The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, has directed the allocation of portfolios among the all new members of the Council of Ministers. The portfolios of Amit Shah,Rajnath Singh,Nitin Gadkari,Nirmala Sitharaman,Dr S Jaishankar,Smiriti Irani,Arjun Munda,Prahlad Joshi,Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi,Gajendra Singh Shekhawat,Raj Kumar Singh NOT Changed. The One department of Mr Hardip Singh Puri is also as it it, but very important portfolio of Petroleum & Natural gas has been added to his portfolio.

In this list, total 77 ministers are named whereas capacity of this cabinet may be till 81.So,it seems, 4 more minsters may be inducted in due course. Earlier total numbers of ministers were 57 only.So out of 57 ministers 12 has been dropped. So 33 new faces have been inducted to carry all programs of PM Narendra Bhai Modi ji for Aatm Nirbhar Bharat & strong Bharat in speedy and very systematic ways.

The size of Ministers of State(Independent Charge) has been also cut from 9 to 2 only. Now numbers of cabinet ministers are 30 plus 1 of PM.The numbers of Minister of State of IC are only 2 whereas numbers of MOS have been increased to 45 from 24.

Out of old list,10 old ministers have been promoted from MOS to cabinet ministers. Mr Anurag Singh Thakur has been promoted to Cabinet Minister as Minister for Information & Broadcasting with additional charge of Youth Affairs and Sports. Mr G Kishan Reddy has been also promoted as Cabinet Minister with North Eastern Development Ministry and Tourism.

From Uttarakhand quota, after removing Dr Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank as Education Minister ,new entry has been endorsed as Mr Ajay Bhatt,as MOS Defence and Tourism.Mr Bhatt is a MP from Nainital. He has been MLAs fro 3 times and Former President of Uttarakhand BJP.This decision has been welcomed and appreciated as nice move by PM Modi. One Historical move is also from Tripura. After a long decade,Tripura has been taken into cabinet.A well known popular leader & MP Ms Pratima Bhoumik  has been indcuted in modi cabinet.as she has been very active BJP leader of Tripura since more than 25 years.Ms Bhoumik has been allocated MOS in Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment.

One significant move by Prime Minister Narendra Bhai Modi is for Ministry of Civil Aviation. That Ministry has been allocated to new BJP leader Shri Jyotiraditya M Scindia as Cabinet Minister.Long time ago in P. V. Narasimha Rao Ministry in 1991 ,this ministry of civil aviation was headed by late Madhav Rao ji Scindia. So,its really a proud moment for Shri J M Scindia who will run that ministry as his father was handled in very sober way.

In this portfolios allocations, the stature  of Prahalad Singh Patel,Shripad Y Naik had been downgraded from MOS(IC) to MOS only. This is called as surprising move by Prime Minister .

One things also seems to be confused that out of 12 ,three most important working ministers have been dropped like Dr Harsh Vardhan, Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javdekar.

One important things are also visible that in spite of total numbers of ministers, why many ministries have been allocated one minister only.

A New Ministry “Ministry of Cooperation” has been formed, That has been allocated to Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah.Earlier this department was part of Ministry of Agriculture.A Nice slogan is given by PM Modi for this ministry-Sahkar se Samridhi;as in English – from Cooperation to Empowerment with All .
